Mountain Hardwear Stretch Ozonic Women's Waterproof Rain Pants

The four-way stretch makes such a difference on scrambles. Stayed completely dry through a soaky day in the Cascades.

I've gone through three pairs of rain pants in five years and these are the first that don't feel like a plastic bag. The stretch fabric lets me high-step over logs and the waistband stays put under a pack hipbelt. Breathability is honestly better than I expected for a 2.5-layer shell. The recycled fabric is a nice bonus. Wore them on a soggy 12-miler and no wet spots at the knees where I usually soak through.

Bought these to layer over tights for shoulder-season hikes. The cut is flattering without being tight, and they pull on easily over trail runners. Kept me dry in a two-hour downpour.

Quality seems excellent and they're truly waterproof. I'm 5'3" and the regular length bunches at my ankles even cinched. Should have checked the inseam first.

Half off and better than pants I paid full price for. The stretch is real — squats, lunges, step-ups, no resistance at all. Dry through sleet on a November hunt.

These stuff into their own pocket small enough to forget they're in my pack until the sky opens up. Waterproofing is legit and the fabric doesn't crinkle loudly. Docking one star because the ankle zips could be longer for pulling them on over boots.

Kept my legs dry but after sitting on a wet log for lunch I had a damp spot through the seat seam. For a 2.5-layer waterproof pant at this level I expected better. Maybe mine is a lemon but it's disappointing.
