These pack down to the size of a water bottle and still kept me warm at 20°F belaying in the Black Hills. The down lofts instantly. Weight to warmth ratio is unreal for the price I paid.

Basically a puffy for your legs and it does that job brilliantly. Sizing runs a touch slim in the thighs if you have big quads, so consider sizing up. Stitching quality looks good after a season of use.

Goes anywhere. Warm. Buy them.

I use these as an emergency layer on alpine starts and for standing around at the crag. They compress beautifully in my pack and the elastic waist stays put under a harness. The cuffs are a little flimsy and I worry about snagging the shell on rock, but so far no damage. For the sale price these were a no-brainer.

Warmth is excellent for the weight, no argument there. But the shell fabric feels tissue-thin and I already pulled a small snag on a branch during a winter hike. Fine as a camp/belay layer, just don't expect them to survive brush.

I've owned heavier synthetic puffy pants for 15 years and these replaced them immediately. Half the packed volume, warmer, and the full-length side zips make them easy to throw on over boots. Worth every penny even at full price.

Bought these for my son's thru-hike and he raved about them so much I got my own. They're incredibly light and my knees stay warm on winter walks. The stuff sack is a nice touch.

Couldn't get a fit that worked. Medium was tight over hiking pants and large bunched awkwardly at the ankles. Quality seems fine but had to return.

At $95 these are a steal for 800-fill style warmth in a sub-9oz package. Waistband is comfortable, no cold spots, and they've survived several washes per the care instructions. Zipper pulls could be slightly bigger for gloved hands.

Kept me toasty on a snowy Superior Hiking Trail trip where temps dropped hard overnight. Unpack them, shake once, and they loft right up. Genuinely amazed something this warm weighs this little.
