The Fireline insulation actually works. I could feel the cold ground completely disappear through this thing at a spring soccer game. Waterproof bottom handled wet grass no problem.
Keeps ground chill out as advertised and rolls back into its pocket reasonably well. Getting it stuffed back in takes a little patience but that's true of everything like this.
Sand shakes right off the coated bottom and it blocks the cold beach sand perfectly. My kids used it as a fort floor too, which is the true test of any blanket.
