I've gradually swapped every stake in my kit for Dirt Daggers. The I-Beam design really does make a difference in holding power, especially in the sandy soil where I camp most often. They're light enough that I never think about the weight penalty. Pulled one out of rock-hard ground without bending it, which says a lot.

Great holding power for the weight. The cord loop is easy to grab with numb fingers in the morning. Just wish these came in multi-packs for convenience.

We had a night of 40 mph gusts in the Tetons and these stakes held everything down without moving an inch. My old stock stakes would have pulled out. Ordering a few spares.

They work well and hold nicely in most soil. At nearly $4 each it adds up fast when you need a dozen. Performance is solid though.

Base weight matters and these shave real grams versus stock stakes without sacrificing holding power. The shape drives easily even with a trekking pole or rock. No bending after two seasons of use.

Bought a few extras after losing one on a windy trip. They're noticeably stronger than the cheap aluminum stakes that came with my tent. Would recommend to any gram counter.

Drove it into moderately soft ground and it bent near the head. Maybe I hit a rock, but my old stakes survived worse. Expected more at this price.

I camp on the dunes and most stakes pull right out. These actually hold. Enough said.
