Big Agnes Copper Spur UL3 Bikepack Footprint – Fits Copper Spur UL3 and UL3 Bikepack Tents

Bikepacking the Colorado Trail meant camping on sketchy ground constantly. This footprint saved my UL3 Bikepack floor from sharp rocks and thorns. Packs flat in my frame bag and adds almost nothing to the load.

I own both the standard UL3 and the Bikepack version and this footprint works with either one, which is exactly why I bought it. Nice hardware and tensioning. Would love a slightly smaller packed size.

On hot buggy nights I pitch the rainfly and footprint as a shelter and it's the perfect ventilated setup after a long ride. Takes barely any time. Worth the money for a bikepacker.

Light, tough, perfect fit.

It does protect the floor but it's thinner than I expected for the price. On very rocky sites I still bring a cheap tyvek layer underneath. No regrets, just manage expectations.

The Copper Spur is not cheap, so protecting the floor is a no-brainer. After 2,000 miles of touring my floor is still pristine. Setup is simple and the grommets line up every time.

Nothing fancy, just a well-made footprint that fits perfectly and enables the Fast Fly pitch. Got it on sale which made the decision easy. My tent thanks me every gravel bar crossing.

Rode the Great Divide route with this under my UL3 Bikepack for six weeks. It shows some scuffs and abrasion but zero holes. That's exactly what you want from a footprint.

During a heavy storm, water sheeted between the footprint and the floor and soaked the bottom of my tent. I now carefully stake it tight and smaller than the floor, but buyers should know the trick.

Every review saying this is essential is right. My floor looks brand new after two seasons of bikepacking, and the Fast Fly mode doubles the value. Just buy it with the tent.
