Three adults plus gear fit without anyone touching walls, which almost never happens in a 3-person tent. The HyperBead fabric handled a full night of heavy rain without a single damp spot. On a fairly calm night one pole section cracked near a joint. Big Agnes warranty is replacing it, but a pole failure in mild conditions on a premium tent is hard to forgive.
I've been through four 3-person tents and this is the first one I'd rate perfect. Light enough for solo trips, roomy enough for family camping. The HyperBead fabric genuinely does shed water differently — beading was visible all night in the rain.
