The removable cover is what sold me and it delivers — soft, quiet, and it stays put all night. The insulation kept me warm on a 28°F night in the Sawtooths with zero cold spots from the air bladder. I'm a side sleeper and the thickness actually lets my shoulder sink in properly.

No complaints about warmth or comfort — both are excellent. My issue is packed size; it takes up a lot of room in a 55L pack compared to my old pad. If you car camp or split pack weight with a partner it's fine. Solos with small packs, think it through.

First trip was great and I was ready to write a glowing review. Second trip the pad slowly deflated overnight and I woke up on the ground at 3am. Big Agnes support says it's covered under warranty, but a leak in month one on a $190 pad is disappointing.
