Did a 15-mile day in the Grand Canyon with this thing and never once thought about sunscreen on my arms or neck. It breathes shockingly well for a hoody and the anti-odor treatment is no joke — three days of use and it still smelled fine. The hood stays put even in wind. Buying a second color.

Feels like you're wearing nothing but blocks the sun completely. Fits a bit slim in the shoulders for me. Great for kayaking and beach days.

The fabric is super light which is great for heat, but in direct sun you can see through it slightly. Protection is still rated UPF so it works, just an aesthetic thing. Also picked up a snag on a branch pretty easily.
