Big Agnes C Bar 2 Lightweight 2-Person Backpacking Tent

At $94.99 this tent is an absolute steal. Set it up in under five minutes on my first try, took it through a weekend of steady rain in the North Cascades, and stayed completely dry inside. The recycled fabric is a nice touch and the vestibule swallowed both our packs.

I'm newer to backpacking and this tent made my first solo trip stress-free. The poles are intuitive, the fly tensioned easily, and condensation was minimal with both vents open. It's roomy for one, snug but fine for two, and light enough that I never noticed it in my pack.

My partner and I are both over six feet and it was cozy lengthwise, though the vertical walls help a lot with elbow room. Waterproofing held through a heavy thunderstorm without a single drip. For the sale price I have zero regrets.

Well made, packs small, and the vestibule genuinely fits gear. Only note is the stakes are light aluminum so I replaced two with heavier ones for rocky ground.

This is a decent tent for the money. It handled wind fine on a coast trip and setup is quick. My complaints are minor: the door zipper snagged a couple times and the stuff sack is very tight until the fabric breaks in. Would buy again at this price.

I've put about twenty nights on this tent across spring and fall trips. The waterproof recycled fabric shows no signs of wear and the seams are still tight. It's not the most spacious two-person tent, but the weight-to-price ratio is unbeatable right now.

Loved the weight and design, but the main door zipper separated on my fourth trip and I had to pin it shut overnight. Everything else worked well. Reaching out to Big Agnes warranty since the fabric itself seems quality.
