Big Agnes Anthracite 20°F Alpenglow Mummy Sleeping Bag

Took the Anthracite down to about 28°F in the Sawtooths and was genuinely cozy all night. The FireLine Pro Eco insulation feels just as lofty as down but I don't panic if it gets damp. Zipper runs smooth and never snagged once. At this sale price it's honestly a steal.

Bought this for weekend backpacking trips. Super warm and packs down smaller than my old bag, but I have broad shoulders and the mummy cut feels tight in the chest. Fine once I'm in, just a little awkward getting dressed inside it in the morning.

My daughter used this at Girl Scout camp in October and stayed toasty. We love it.

The insulation quality is there and it's light for a 20-degree bag, no complaints there. But the hood cinch design took me a few nights to figure out and it never quite sealed the way I wanted. For the money at half off it's still a reasonable buy, just know the fit takes some adjusting.

It has compressed well after repeated stuffing and still fluffs back up quickly. Absolutely would purchase again.

Honestly didn't expect much at $70 but this performs like a much pricier bag. Kept me warm on a chilly Colorado night. Only minor gripe is the stuff sack is a bit small, takes some muscle to get everything back in.

I know it's rated 20°F but I froze at 38°F even with a base layer and beanie. Possibly I'm just a cold sleeper, but I expected more. Build quality is nice though.

Packs smaller than our old rectangular bags too. Big Agnes quality shows in the stitching and materials.

Comfortably warm at 30°F with just a liner added. The anti-snag zipper design actually works, which my old bag could never claim. Great purchase.

Packs down nicely and the weight is great for ultralight trips. The recycled insulation aligns with my values and it performs well. Draft collar does its job. My only wish is an interior pocket for my phone.
