Big Agnes Anthracite 30° - Traditional Mummy Sleeping Bag with FireLine Pro Eco Insulation

Took this on a week of summer backpacking and slept comfortably every night, even at 35°F one evening near treeline. The FireLine Pro insulation lofted back up nicely after being stuffed all day. Pack size is excellent for the weight. Love that the insulation is recycled too.

Lightweight, packs small, and the 30° rating seems honest. Zipper doesn't snag. Exactly what I wanted for warm-weather trips.

Great bag overall — warm, light, and the mummy cut does its job keeping drafts out. My only gripe is that the shoulder area feels tight on me. If you're a side sleeper with broad shoulders, consider the wide version.

Bought this mostly for backyard campouts with the kids and it has been wonderful. It's warm enough that my 9-year-old stayed cozy on a 40° night, and light enough that I borrowed it for a solo overnight and it packed down tiny in my pack. The shell fabric feels durable and the recycled insulation is a nice bonus. Very pleased for the price.

I'm a cold sleeper and at rating temps I needed every layer I had. Maybe that's on me, but I'd say this is a comfy 40° bag for me rather than 30°. Build quality is genuinely nice though.

Straight out of the stuff sack the insulation lofted up fast, which told me a lot. Slept warm down to the low 40s with just a base layer. The hood cinches down well and the draft collar makes a real difference. Only reason it's not five stars is the zipper pull is a bit fiddly in the dark.

I read it was a traditional mummy cut so this is partly on me, but the bag is very restrictive and I felt clammy and pinned all night. Warmth seemed fine. Returning it for a rectangular bag instead.
