Buy the Nathan Running Hydration Vest (OSFM, Black) online today for just $23.50, 50% off the $47.00 compare-at price. Built for marathons, trail runs, and long training days, this lightweight men's and women's vest is the hands-free hydration pick for runners who want no bounce and no bulk.
The vest fits Nathan x HydraPak reservoirs from 1.5L to 2L (bladder not included). Slide your bladder into the dedicated sleeve, route the hose, and go. Standard-shape 1.5L–2L bladders of similar dimensions generally fit; bulky or rigid bladders may not seat properly.

One-size-fits-most (OSFM) with adjustable side and front sternum straps fits men and women, over base layers or solo. High-visibility reflective trim keeps you seen at dawn, dusk, and night. Breathable air mesh and quick-dry materials keep the bounce-free load comfortable mile after mile.

Used this for a trail marathon and it performed flawlessly. The 2L bladder sat stable against my back with no sloshing, and the front pockets held gels and my phone within easy reach. The OSFM adjustment accommodated my t-shirt-to-jacket transition as weather changed. Reflective details were a nice bonus for the pre-dawn start.
Ran a 50K with this vest and had no chafing, which is honestly miraculous given my history with hydration packs. The straps are easy to adjust on the fly. I do wish there were a couple more stretch pockets on the front, but it covers the essentials well.
Barely notice it's on. Fit adjustment is quick and stays put. Great vest.
The vest itself fits nicely and doesn't bounce, and for the sale price it's hard to complain. But loading and cleaning the bladder is a two-hand, slightly annoying operation. If you'll use soft bottles instead, this may be a non-issue for you.
This was my first hydration vest and it was a great entry point. It's lightweight, the adjustment range is generous, and the bladder compatible design means I can choose between a reservoir and bottles. Did a hot 15-miler and drank comfortably without stopping. Highly recommend for anyone moving from handheld bottles.
Wanted this to work. The fit felt good in the store test, but about ten miles into my trail race the shoulder straps loosened on their own and I had to stop repeatedly to retighten. Maybe mine was defective, but I can't trust it for race day. Returning.
I've put a couple hundred miles on this vest through summer training. It's breathable enough, the reflective touches are genuinely useful for early mornings, and the storage handles phone, nutrition, and a light shell. The bladder hose clip could grip better, but overall a very good vest.
Upgraded from a bulkier pack and the difference is night and day. This one hugs my back, distributes weight evenly, and dries out quickly after use. Rinsed the bladder with cleaning tablets as instructed and it stays fresh. No regrets at all.
Bought it on sale and it's honestly better than vests costing twice as much. Bounce-free even on technical descents. One minor gripe: the zipper on the main pocket is a little stiff out of the box, though it's loosening up with use.
I ran shirtless in hot weather — a true test for any vest — and came away with zero rub marks. The materials feel soft against skin and the stitching is flat where it matters. Storage is well thought out. Very impressed.
One size fits most is a stretch. I'm between sizes per the chart and it never quite dialed in perfectly — either the chest strap or shoulder straps needed constant attention. Still functional and the hydration system works well, but petite or very broad runners may want to try it on first.
Sixteen-mile long runs in August heat made this purchase a no-brainer. Two liters got me through the whole run, the vest stayed comfortable and dry-feeling, and the reflective trim gave me confidence on dim roads. It also fits my wife fine with a quick strap adjustment, so we share it. Fantastic value.
