13 pockets and I use them all

Ran a self-supported 30-miler with this and had room for a windbreaker, food, phone, first aid, and more. The hourglass bladder is easier to fill than traditional designs and doesn't slosh. Still surprisingly lightweight for a 12L vest.

Great for long adventures

If you need capacity, this is your vest. Loads of organized storage and the fit stays put when properly adjusted. It's warmer on the back than the 4L version, as expected with a bladder, so dress accordingly in summer.

Capable but heavier than I hoped
