Mountain Hardwear Women's Crater Lake Long Sleeve Hoody

Bought this for cool morning hikes and it's honestly become the first thing I grab out of the closet. The fabric is buttery soft, the length is perfect for my torso, and the hood actually stays put when it gets windy. Sized up to a medium for layering and it's ideal.

Super cozy and the fit is flattering without being tight. Docked a star only because I'd love a kangaroo pocket for cold hands. Still wear it constantly, though.

So soft. Wore it all weekend camping. No complaints.

I live in this thing now. It packs down small, doesn't wrinkle, and layers under a shell easily. The crater lake color is even prettier in person — a lovely muted blue that doesn't look cheap. Washed it five times already and zero pilling.

Quality is good and the fabric feels premium, but I found it runs a bit slim through the shoulders. Ordered the large instead of my usual medium and it fits better. Would recommend sizing up if you plan to layer.

Wore this as a midlayer on a four-day backpacking trip in the North Cascades. It kept me warm at camp, breathed fine while moving, and shrugged off light drizzle surprisingly well. The hood fits over a beanie, which I appreciated at 6am. Only note is the sleeves rode up a bit when I was scrambling.

I wanted to love this. The color and fit are great, but after three washes the fabric under my arms pilled noticeably. Maybe I got a bad batch, but for the price I expected better durability. Returning it.

That says it all really. Got the crater lake color first, loved it so much I ordered another in a different shade. Warm, lightweight, and the long sleeves actually cover my wrists fully — a rarity for someone 5'10".

Purchased for myself but my college-age daughter immediately claimed it, so I guess that's the strongest endorsement possible. Ordering myself a replacement. Quality feels excellent for the sale price.
