Mountain Hardwear Microchill Full Zip Jacket – 100% Recycled Brushed Fleece Midlayer with Zip Pockets

This is the jacket I throw on for everything now — school drop-off, errands, campfires, under my shell on chilly hikes. The fleece is brushed soft on the inside and the fit is clean enough to wear to the office. Zip pockets actually hold my phone securely. At $42 it's a steal.

Warm, lightweight, layers nicely under a rain shell. Recycled material is a bonus. Sleeves are a touch long on me but I roll them and move on.

I'm 64 and I've bought a lot of fleece over the years. This one beats the big-box store stuff by a mile. Dense knit, no pilling after several washes, and the zipper is smooth as butter. Bought a second one for my wife.

It's a fine fleece, nothing more. Warmth is moderate and the fabric attracts lint like crazy. Fits true to size. If it were full price I'd probably pass, but at half off it's reasonable.

So soft. Wear it daily. 10/10.

I wear this under my ski shell and it's the perfect weight — not too puffy, not too thin. The full zip vents well on the chairlift. Only complaint is it could use a chest pocket for my lift pass.

Bought this for walking to campus in the cold and it's honestly my favorite jacket now. Looks way better than a hoodie, fits great over a t-shirt, and the pockets fit my phone and keys. My roommate already ordered one. Mountain Hardwear quality at a Target price.
