Hiked 12 miles in full sun and my neck and ears didn't burn once. Barely noticed I was wearing it.

The fabric is incredibly light and the hood stays put. Wish the thumbholes were a bit snugger, but no complaints otherwise.

I've burned through (literally) cheaper sun shirts for years. This one actually breathes in 90-degree heat and the HeiQ Mint treatment really does keep the odor down. Wore it three days in a row on a backpacking trip and it never got that funk. The hood fits over a cap and still doesn't block peripheral vision. Worth every penny even at full price, so at 50% off it's a no-brainer.

Good sun protection and very light fabric, but the fit is narrower than I expected. Size up if you have broad shoulders.

Bought this for hiking but now use it for kayak fishing. The long sleeves and hood cover everything and it dries fast after splash. Would buy again.

I hate slathering sunscreen on my arms and neck every two hours. With this hoody I just apply to my face and hands and I'm set for the day. The UPF 50 rating is legit — I did a full-day desert hike with zero pink skin. It also packs down to almost nothing. Buying a second one.

Sun protection is real, but after a few washes the fabric pilled under the arms. Expected better at this price point.

Used it all summer on weekend hikes. The anti-odor treatment genuinely works better than my other synthetic shirts. It's a bit pricey at MSRP but on sale it's excellent value.

Got this for my 22-year-old who works trail crew all summer. He says it's the coolest-feeling shirt he owns despite the long sleeves. The cuffs stay over his hands and there's no sunburn on his neck anymore. I tried it once and immediately ordered my own.
