Used this on a winter trip to the Wind Rivers at -10°F and slept like a rock. The welded synthetic construction means zero cold spots even on snow. At under $100 for a -20 bag, this is genuinely absurd value. The Fiery Red is easy to find in a whiteout too.

I own a premium down bag and honestly this thing competes with it in dry cold. Slept at 0°F with just a base layer and a good pad. It's bulky in the pack, but for basecamp and sled hauling that's irrelevant. Extremely well made.

This bag is a beast. Kept me warm at -5°F in Minnesota without question. But plan accordingly — the packed size takes up half a large pack. Perfect for winter car camping and expeditions where weight doesn't matter.

Winter camping in New Hampshire at 8°F with wind and I was comfortably warm all night. The draft collar and hood seal heat in beautifully. I'm 6'2" and the Long fits with room to spare. Buying a second one for my wife.

Very warm, but the mummy cut plus thick baffles makes it feel like a straitjacket. I couldn't sleep in it and ended up in the car. Fit matters — try before relying on it.
