Mountain Hardwear Dynama Lined Pant – Fleece-Lined Stretch Hiking Pant

These are my cold-weather hiking secret. The fleece lining is cozy but the pants still fit under rain shells without bunching. I wore them on a 20-degree November hike in the Adirondacks and stayed comfortable the whole time. The stretch fabric makes steep climbs easy. Buying a second pair before they sell out.

Perfect for shoulder season. They cut the wind reasonably well and the lining is soft against the skin. I ran warm on climbs but that's the tradeoff with any lined pant. Sizing was true for me.

I love the warmth and stretch for late-season hikes. After about ten wears the inner fleece started pilling a bit where my thighs rub. Still totally functional and comfortable. Just noting for anyone expecting pristine looks long-term.

I'm sixty-eight and walk three miles every morning, even in snow. These pants have changed my winter entirely. They're warm enough that I no longer need long johns, and flexible enough that my stride doesn't feel restricted. They also look presentable enough to wear into the coffee shop afterward. The stretch in these is the real deal. I wore them climbing at the Gunks in October and never felt restricted on high steps. Fleece lining kept me warm on the belay ledges. They shed light mist fine. Would love a slightly slimmer cut but they're great.

Originally bought these just for cold morning dog walks. Turns out they're excellent actual hiking pants too. Warm, quiet fabric, no swishy sound. The elastic waist is comfortable after a big dinner, let's be honest.

Kept me warm on a windy ridge day in the Whites. They block wind better than I expected from stretch fabric. Fit is relaxed through the thigh which I prefer. The lining does add warmth so they're too much above 45 degrees for me.

I have Raynaud's and my legs freeze on every winter hike. These solved it. The fleece lining feels luxurious and the outer layer cuts wind completely. I hiked in 15-degree weather and felt fine in just these plus thermal underwear. Life-changing for a cold-blooded person like me.

The lining is cozy but I overheated quickly even at 40 degrees. Also the length was several inches too long for me and the ankles bunched. Probably great for colder climates and taller buyers.
