Big Agnes Women's Star Route Parka – Body-Mapped Down and Synthetic Winter Insulated Jacket

I wear this dog walking in -10°F Iowa winters and I'm genuinely cozy. The synthetic panels in the high-sweat zones make a noticeable difference when I'm moving. It also fits over a midlayer without feeling bulky.

Fantastic warmth-to-weight and the hood fits over a beanie beautifully. I'm 5'4" and the length is a little generous on me, though some will love the coverage.

Bought this on closeout and honestly it outperforms parkas I've paid three times as much for. Down where you need it, synthetic where you get damp. The pockets are deep enough for my phone, keys, and dog treats.

The insulation is excellent and I stay warm standing around at soccer games for hours. The hood is a bit tight over a chunky hat though, which is why I'm at three stars.

This is my belay parka now. Puffs back up fast after being stuffed in the pack, and the synthetic shoulders have survived sharp pack straps all season. Sizing was true for me at 140 lbs, medium.

I bought it for myself, my 20-year-old promptly borrowed it for campus, and now we fight over it. Warm without being a marshmallow, and it looks good with leggings or jeans.

Snagged this at the sale price and it feels like a steal. Stitching is immaculate, the down lofts evenly, and it blocks wind on the chairlift better than my old name-brand parka.

Love the warmth but the main zipper catches near the top and it drives me nuts on a jacket this expensive. Hoping it breaks in or I'll be sending it back.

As a grandma who hates being cold, this does the job from the rink to the grocery store. It's warm, washes well, and the longer cut covers my hips. Minus one star because I wanted more color options.
