Down insulation is seriously warm for a youth bag and it compresses small enough for my son to carry his own pack. Only knock is the zipper can catch if you're rushing, but he's learned to go slow.
Quality is there and the adjustability works as advertised, but it's very roomy for a small 5-year-old so she doesn't warm up as fast as I expected. Fine for car camping; might wait a season before taking it into the backcountry.
