Weighs basically nothing and packs down to water bottle size. Set it up in seconds at camp and my knees have never been happier.

The hub-less frame is clever and the whole thing genuinely fits in a side pocket of my pack. It took a few tries to get the shock-corded poles aligned smoothly, but once you know the trick it's quick. Seat fabric feels tough. Wish it sat an inch taller for getting up, but that's the ultralight tradeoff.

I'm 62 and my knees don't forgive me when I sit on logs or rocks anymore. This stool weighs a pound, disappears into my pack, and gives me a comfortable place to rest on every break. Setup is easy even with arthritic hands. Should have bought it years ago.

Works great on hardpack and grass, but the legs sink into soft sand or mud. Fine for most trail breaks though.

Brought this on a five-day trip in the Sierras and ended up being the most envied person at camp every evening. After a long day of climbing, being able to actually sit somewhere comfortable instead of on cold rock is a game changer. It held up through rain, dust, and being tossed around in my pack without a scratch. The fabric still looks brand new. My hiking buddies each ordered one the week we got back.

Bought this for section hiking the AT and it's been on every trip since. Packs down smaller than my Nalgene, which is honestly hard to believe. The seat height is a little low but it's comfortable and the aluminum frame shows zero wear after a season. Would recommend to any ounce-counter.

For the sale price this was a no-brainer. Setup takes under a minute, it weighs almost nothing, and it's sturdier than chairs costing twice as much. My kids even fight over it when we car camp.
